The flat is located in Holland Park, which is central London. It is just 2 blocks away from the tube station, which is 2-3 minutes walk. The nearest tube is Holland Park which is on the Central Line (just outside Zone 1). Notting Hill Gate is a 5 minute walk away, which is Zone 1 on the tube. 

There are a range of shops on Holland Park Avenue, including a general convenience shop, cheese shops, 2 patisserie/bakeries, launderette, florists, newsagents, off licence, an award winning butcher (apparently the best in London), as well as a number of restaurants and pubs, oh.. and of course a Starbucks. 

Notting Hill Gate has a range of high street type shops, like the Gap, Pizza Express, supermarkets and all the usual London shops, restaurants and pubs.
